Commander
This year was the year of data-globalization and operations expansion. In the past most of our data tables were event driven and duplicated for each new event. With the immense growth of the company, this was no longer sustainable approach. A complete revamping of data structures, while a major accomplishment, was accomplished with very little down-time. A new line of work announced in December and commencing in February gave us an opportunity to work hand in hand with the operations team on data and process needs. Not without several 20×7 weeks, we were able to meet their needs and help grow the project for them.
Staffing
Over the course of the year we were able to provide contractors in the following sectors: data management; finance-admin clerks; transport coordinators; damage assessment; generator maintenance; project management and general labor.
Storage Solutions
No major changes to Storage Solutions (a small business tool used for tracking self-storage unit rental and payments). Continued security monitoring and some communication upgrades were the extent of changes. In year seven of operation, Storage Solutions remains a viable lightweight management tool.
